The Gist

Kid goes to camp. Kid has a spiritually significant experience; actually feels God’s presence, actually makes some real commitments, excited about taking said experience back to the real world…..

Fast forward twelve months – same kid goes back to same camp. Same kid has a spiritually significant experience; makes same commitments….hopefully they’ll stick this time.

The record’s not skipping here. This is simply the all-too-familiar story of many students who mistake an emotional experience for real intimacy with God. So how do we do it? Is it possible to live beyond “the event” and actually experience consistent growth in our relationship with the Lord? How do we sustain spiritual momentum?

Abiding. Spiritual momentum is found when we remain in the person of Jesus Christ.

These sessions are designed to unpack what it means to abide in Jesus. The means by which we remain are both fundamental and practical: Prayer, Word, & Community. Are there more than three ways to experience intimacy with the Savior? Sure. These are simply core connecting links to the Father, always pointing us back to God. No matter where we find ourselves on the spiritual map, these three will lead us home.

Here's what you get:

- 4 sessions with Travis Crim speaking and band of your choice below (Friday PM/Saturday AM/Saturday PM/Sunday AM)

- One full concert by band chosen for the weekend

- Discussion Guides for small group sessions provided in .pdf form

- Use of art for t-shirts, promotion, etc.
