The passion that Rick and Dena have for God is most evident in the way they live out their lives – and they would have it no other way. The music they share is an overflow of what God is doing in and through them. “It’s so amazing that we share the same passion and get to do this together. It’s a great honor and privilege for me to be able to stand beside my wife each week as we lead worship”, says Rick. 


Rick and Dena have been singing together for over seventeen years. They knew early on that music would be a huge part of their lives. The two met while in college and have been together since. They lead worship at The Orchard Church in Tupelo, Mississippi and call Tupelo “home”. Rick is a very talented songwriter and has written with several artists including Chris Rice, Regie Hamm and one of Country Music’s most gifted writers, Rivers Rutherford. One of Rick’s latest songs “Reflection” was recently featured on vol. 97 of Worship leaders Song Discovery – a great tool and format for helping other worship leaders introduce new music to their congregation. Rick explains, “We want to lead and engage others as we, ourselves, worship; and through our music allow God to change lives.”



Rick and Dena have been married for sixteen years and have three wonderful children. With God as their center – their prayer is that through their story, lives, and their music lives will be changed.
